  1. Chemistry Association Inauguration was conducted on 25th July 2017 and the chief Guest Dr. P.V.Srinivasan  (Retd.) Professor of Chemistry, U.C. College Aluva delivered a talk on Research methodology in Chemistry
  2. T. R Anatharaman Memorial & Dr. A.M. Chacko Endowment National Seminar was conducted on 02 March 2018. Dr. John Prakash, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Central University, Tamil Nadu delivered a talk on “ Fluorescence : Simple but Powerful”  during the forenoon session followed by a talk on “Dye sensitized ‘Smart cells’ for Smart Applications”  by  Dr. Suraj  Soman, Assistant Professor, AcSIR, Photoscience and Photonics Section, CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram.
  3. Intercollegiate Chemistry Quiz Competition will be conducted on 09th March 2018.

  • Jintu Varghese (III B.Sc. Chemistry) participated in the National Integration Camp (NCC) held at NIT, Silchar from 9th December to 20th December 2017.
  • Briteena K S and Vishnupriya K R of III B.Sc Chemistry secured the first place for Inquisite-The General Quiz in Bhavan’s Florecer’17 on 19th December 2017.
  • Briteena K S and Vishnupriya K R of III B.Sc Chemistry secured the third place in Intercollegiate Quiz Competition  conducted by Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha on 14th January 2018.
  • Annie Mohan of I B.Sc Chemistry along with the team won the Championship in Cricket Championship organised by M.G University on 24th February 2018.
  • Raina Francis and Gopika A S of III B.Sc Chemistry secured the second place on Intercollegiate fencing Competition.
  • Syamili M. S and Vishnupriya K. R of III B.Sc Chemistry secured the second place in Inter-Collegiate Quiz Competition for the Prof. Abdul Kareem Memorial Ever-Rolling Trophy at U.C College on 8th November 2017.
  • Abhijith T. J of I B.Sc Chemistry secured the second place in Inter-Collegiate Quiz Competition “Easy Chem Lab-2017” at PG Dept. of Chemistry, Maharaja’s College on 19th and 20th October 2017.
  • Sivam Tripati of II B.Sc Chemistry secured the third place in Inter-Collegiate Elocution Competition as part of International Ozone Day celebration at PG Dept. of Chemistry, Sree Sankara College, Kalady on 19th and 14th September 2017.
  • Gopika A S of III B.Sc passed the Certificate B Examination held in 2017 under the authority of Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
  • Thomas George of III B.Sc won the second place in 37th Keral State Junior Karate Championship below 55 Kg Category on 29th and 30th April 2017.
  • Anju Mohan, Raina Francis and Thomas George of III B.Sc Chemistry cracked INSIPE Scholarship during the month of October 2017.
