Gifted Children Program 2022-23
In association with the Education Department, Government of Kerala, Union Christian College, Aluva successfully organized a two days ‘Gifted Children’ programme, in the college campus. The event was coordinated under the directions of college IQAC. The program brought together over nine speakers and 50 school students participated in the program. The students from 8th, 9th and 10th standard from different schools of our district attended the program in which they had a wonderful opportunity to learn from eminent personalities and explored the lab sessions. The program that was held in collaboration with six departments (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, Economics, and History) of our college and was comprised of lectures, presentations and open discussions which allowed the participants to enter into practical discussions. The sessions were handled by Dr. Sunil Abraham Thomas (Department of Economics), Dr. Geena Joy (Department of Mathematics), Dr. Anumol Jose (Department of Botany), Dr. Ajalesh B Nair (Department of Chemistry), Ms. Rakhy Raphael (Department of Physics), Ms. Tresa Divya (Department of History), Ms. Shasiya P S (Department of Chemistry), Ms. Vidhya (Department of Chemistry), Ms. Thasni Navas (Department of Economics) of Union Christian College, Aluva.
