Prof. T R Anantharaman Memorial Lecture 2022-23
The Department of chemistry organized the Prof. T R Anantharaman Memorial Lecture on 30th March 2023; 10.30 AM at T B Ninan seminar Hall, Union Christian College, Aluva. The program began with a prayer song, followed by the welcome note given by Dr. Jenish Paul, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Chemistry. College Principal, Prof. M I Punnoose presided over the function. Dr. Ajalesh B Nair introduced the distinguished speaker Dr. Sreekala M S, Associate Professor, School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. She addressed the student gathering with her exceptional teaching skills on the topic ” The Future is Nano: Exploring the latest Breakthroughs in Nanotechnology Applications”. Both the PG and UG students benefited from the lecture as it was more oriented towards their syllabi and at the same time focused towards the application of the classroom theories in a practical way. Students interacted with the speaker in an enthusiastic way related to the topic of the lecture as well as the existing general trends in chemistry research. Dr. Sunil Sekhar A C, one of the Chemistry association in charge delivered the vote of thanks.
